Kannada Rajyotsava was celebrated with great pride and cultural enthusiasm at Christ Public School on 1st November. The programme began with a solemn and dignified flag hoisting ceremony, performed by the Principal, Fr. Renish P. Varghese, along with the Administrator, Fr. Noble, and the Director of Christ Home, Fr. Josekutty. Faculty members and students gathered in large numbers to witness the ceremony, reflecting their respect and love for the state and its heritage.
The event aimed to honour the rich legacy, language, and cultural identity of Karnataka. The celebration featured a vibrant line-up of performances showcasing the beauty of the Kannada language and the traditions of the state. Students presented songs, speeches, dances, mono acting, and drama, each performance highlighting different aspects of Karnataka’s history, art, and cultural values.
The energetic dances, expressive mono acts, and well-prepared speeches brought alive the spirit of Rajyotsava, while the cultural songs added a melodic touch that resonated with the audience. The programme successfully instilled a sense of unity, pride, and cultural belonging among the students.

Children’s Day was celebrated with great joy and enthusiasm at Christ Public School, Mysore on 14 November 2025. The event was graced by the presence of Principal Rev. Fr. Renish P. Varghese, Administrator Rev. Fr. Noble Jose, Director – Christ Home Rev. Fr. JoseKutty VJ, along with the Vice Principal and Academic Coordinator, whose encouraging presence made the celebration even more special for the students.
The day began with a vibrant stage programme where teachers expressed their love and affection for the children through a lively song performance and an energetic dance, filling the atmosphere with excitement. Students also showcased their talents through ethnic folk dances and a humorous mad act, which entertained the audience and highlighted their creativity.
The celebration continued with No Bag Day, allowing children to enjoy a stress-free morning filled with fun activities. The school also observed Ethnic Day, and students arrived in colourful traditional attire, proudly representing India’s cultural diversity. Later, everyone gathered on the school grounds for a joyful DJ dance session, where students danced freely and happily with their friends.

Aqua World – Observations:
The students observed over 118 species of fish and experienced the longest underwater tunnel in India. The marine life seen included sharks, crabs, gar, arapaima, lionfish, and sea stingray. This visit helped the children gain valuable knowledge about aquatic ecosystems in an engaging and visual manner.
Snow City – Observations:
At Snow City, students experienced an artificial sub-zero temperature environment (approximately –10°C). They observed a snow-based, indoor themed setting and enjoyed learning about artificial climatic conditions in a safe and controlled environment.
The educational field trip provided the children with valuable insights into aquatic ecosystems and environmental science, promoting learning through hands-on experience in a recreational setting. The visit was both educational and enjoyable, making it a meaningful part of the Winter Day celebration.
Christ Public School, Mysore, celebrated its Annual Day CHRISTOS on 23rd December 2025 with great enthusiasm under the theme “Around the World in One Day.” Students from Pre-KG to 10th std showcased their talents through a wide range of performances that reflected global cultures and values.
The programme featured vibrant international dance forms such as Chinese Ribbon and Japanese Fan Dance, Russian Dance, Korean Fan Dance, Belly Dance, African Drumming, Spanish Flamenco, Ballet/Waltz Fusion, along with Indian classical dances like Bharatanatyam, Mohiniyattam, and Kathak Fusion. Fusion dances, a Mega Fusion Dance, Hip-Hop/Street Dance, Yoga Dance, Prayer Dance, and Welcome Dance added colour and energy to the celebration.
Meaningful presentations such as Skit on Unity in Diversity, Skit on the Best Christmas Present in the World, Dance Drama on Farmers, Patriotic Song – Vande Mataram, Martial Arts Display, Band Performance, Musical Performance, and Poetry Recital with Enactments conveyed strong messages alongside entertainment.
The event was a joyous and memorable celebration, beautifully highlighting cultural diversity, creativity, teamwork, and the confidence of the students, truly taking the audience around the world in one day

Christ Public School, Mysore, in association with Christ Centre for HR Development and CBSE – COE Bengaluru, organised a Faculty Development Programme on “Life Skills (Advance)” on 10th January 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at the school campus.
The programme was conducted by esteemed resource persons Ms. Suma K. B., Principal, JSS Public School, Manasagangotri, Mysore, and Ms. Maheshwari Prasad, Senior TGT, JSS Public School, Manasagangotri, Mysore. The sessions focused on enhancing life skills among educators, equipping them with advanced strategies for holistic student development.
