Christ Fest was held on 30th and 31st August providing a venue for the students to bring out their inherent talents. Some extraordinary performances left everyone spellbound as the students competed in various individual as well as group events like dance, song, mono acting, rangoli and cooking without fire.

A faculty development program was conducted by CBSE-COE Bengaluru on 10th August. The topic was Art Integration. Ms Prathima Patel Principal, Radcliffe Group of Schools and Mr Shivamurthy S Principal Holy Crescent English School were the resource persons. The participants were sensitised on various activities to integrate various forms of art (visual and performing) into various subjects to make learning easier and engaging.
Kargil Diwas was celebrated on 26th July to pay tribute to the brave soldiers who lost their lives during the Kargil War of 1999. In charge was given to the NCC cadets.
Major Raju K, Ex Serviceman 14 Karnataka Battalion, Indian Army was the chief guest. Our Principal Rev Fr Renish P Varghese, Rev Fr Nobel Jose, Administrator were the other dignitaries present.
Various programs like speech highlighting the importance of the day, group song, Sapling was donated as a mark of respect and gratitude towards the martyrs who sacrificed their lives to protect our motherland.
Inter school competition based on the theme of patriotism was held on 3rd August. 11 schools form Mysore participated in the various competitions like Harmony of Heroes (patriotic group song), Costume Carnival Extravaganza (fancy dress), Ink Masterpiece Challenge(Essay Writing), Speech spark sparkle(Elocution),Rhythms of freedom (Patriotic group dance), Visual vibes art contest(Poster making). Our Principal Fr Renish P Varghese, Campus Director Fr Josekutty VJ, administrator Fr Nobel Jose were the dignitaries present. After a formal inauguration program, various competitions took place in the venues earmarked for the same. Students competed with great enthusiasm and some extraordinary commendable performances were displayed. The day ended with the valedictory function where the results were announced and prizes were given away.
Christ Public School Bogadi emerged as the overall champion. St Joseph’s Vijayanagar was the first runner up and Christ the King Convent was the second runner up. No bag day was also celebrated on the same day. The students were given an exposure to the various competitions held on that day as they cheered the participants during their performances. Students learnt important life skills like public speaking, participating in competitions with true competitive spirit and learning to accept success and failures with the same mind set.
International Chess Day was celebrated on 20th July.
Fr Renish P Varghese, Principal, Fr Jose Kutty, Campus Director, Fr Noble Jose, Administrator. Chess instructor Ms Suchithra Prasad and program coordinators Ms Rekha Jnaneshwar and Ms Gowthami were the dignitaries present. Students were sensitized about the importance of learning chess through a speech followed by the formal inauguration through a friendly match between our principal Fr Renish P Varghese and Janavi S of 9A1 with a FIDE rating of 1496. Former national chess champion Ms Rekha Jnaneshwar shared her experiences in the field of chess and motivated the students to take up the sport as it improves problem solving skills.
A friendly match was held for the students under the guidance of chess instructor Ms Suchitra Prasad and Ms Rekhs Jnaneshwar.
