Welcome to the new principal

 

Our new Principal Rev Fr Renish P Varghese was accorded a warm welcome on 13th June. Rev Dr Augustine Paimpallil President STES, Fr Jinosh V M, former Principal, Fr Jose Kutty Campus Director, Fr Noble, Administrator, Ms Merlyn Christabel Vice Principal, Ms Sindhu N K Academic Coordinator, Ms Jayashree Suresh staff Coordinator, Ms Mini A S LCA coordinator Aashrith and Thanushree -School Pupil leaders were the dignitaries present.

A staff meeting was held on the same day to introduce the new principal Rev Fr Renish P Varghese to the staff members and to place on record the commendable work rendered by the outgoing principal Rev Fr Jinosh VM.

 
 

Inauguration of Heritage and Language Clubs

 

Heritage and Language Clubs were inaugurated on 13th June. Various cultural programs were presented by the students highlighting the importance of language and stressing the need to preserve the rich heritage of our country.

 
 

Faculty Development Program

 

3rd Faculty Development Program organized by the CBSE-Centre of Excellence was held on 8th June. The topic was Gender Sensitivity in school. Ms. Niti Mahendra, Sr Principal, Edify School Bangalore and Mr. Sivakumar N V, Director and Principal, Pragathi International School were the resource persons of the day. The training touched upon the different nuances of the topic so relevant in today’s scenario’. Teachers were sensitized about the need to be aware about the gender related issues and its inclusivity.

 
 

Inauguration of Compassionate Christitte

 

Compassionate Christite program for the current year was inaugurated on 12th June. Fr Jiby Panachickal CMI, Councilor for Social Apostolate and Health Care was the Chief Guest. Fr Jinosh VM Principal, Fr Jose Kutty, Campus Director, Fr Noble, Administrator, Ms Merlyn Christabel, Vice Principal, Mr Joseph Simon, Coordinator-Compassionate Christite, Jayashree and Jathin student representatives were also present. Students were sensitized about their responsibilities to extend a helping hand towards the less privileged people in the society.

 
 

NCC training Camp

 

NCC Combined Annual Training Camp was held in 2 batches from 1st May to 10th May and 11th May to 20th May. Our school NCC cadets actively participated in the camp and won prizes in several events lie sol drill, solo dance, quiz and tug of war.

On 10th June the prize winners were honored in the school assembly by Subedar Major Raju K, Ex Serviceman 14 Karnataka Battalion, in the presence of our Principal Fr Jinosh VM and Fr Jose Kutty our Campus Director.
