Saint Kuriakose Elias Chavara was born in 1805 at Kainakary, Kerala. After his early schooling and priestly studies, he was ordained priest in 1829. Father Kuriakose along with Fathers Thomas Palackal and Thomas Porukara founded the Indigenous Religious Congregation - Carmelites Mary Immaculate (CMI) on May 11, 1831. Brother Jacob Kanianthara, who in 1865 became the first professed brother co-operator in the congregation also co-operated with those three founding fathers from the beginning. Father Kuriakose was a pioneer in education and social work in the country. He was an illustrious scholar, educationist, prophetic writer, poet, multilinguist, social reformer and an organizer. Father Kuriakose was a man of deep prayer and he stayed in close communion with the Lord amidst his religious and social activities. So he was accepted as a man of God.
Father Kuriakose took a keen interest in starting educational Institutions attached to the Monasteries and churches. The idea paved the way for progressive change in the field of education in India. Education is one of the Charisms of the CMI Congregation. He died on 3 January 1871 and his mortal remains are kept in St. Joseph’s Monastery, Mannanam, Kerala. He was canonized on 23 November 2014 in Rome by Pope Francis. The CMI congregation inspired by the vision of St Kuriakose Elias Chavara renders its service in educational, social, health care and other sectors aiming at the integral development of the society.

WeJump is a global community dedicated to nurturing youth as tomorrow's leaders, equipped with digital competence and social mindful leadership.

St. Thomas Education Society (R.) is a registered body that oversees the administration of Christ Public School. Established with the vision of patron Saint Kuriakose Elias Chavara, the society is managed by the Fathers of the Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI) of St. Paul’s Province Mysore. The society is dedicated to providing quality education and fostering holistic development in line with the values and principles of the CMI congregation. Through its efforts, St. Thomas Education Society (R.) aims to nurture students who are not only academically proficient but also morally and socially responsible.
As envisioned by our patron Saint Kuriakose Elias Chavara, Christ Public School, following the CBSE curriculum, was established in 2005. It is run by Fathers of the Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI) of St. Paul’s Province Mysore through a registered body, “St. Thomas Education Society (R.)”
Christ Public School’s ideal location, away from the hustle and bustle of city life, picturesque locality, lush green gardens, eco-friendly environment, state of the art infrastructure and a panel of distinguished knowledgeable teaching fraternity makes it a class on its own. The fact that all this comes at an affordable fee structure makes it a favorite among the parents seeking holistic quality education for their children.
This school is primarily meant to provide sound education based on religious and moral values to all irrespective of religion, caste or community, paying respect to their religious feelings and freedom of conscience.
The school aims not merely academic excellence, but also at achieving excellence in every aspect of educational activity – spiritual, cultural, social and physical – by developing their character and personality through freedom with responsibility, personal guidance and social awareness. We mold them into leaders in the intellectual and civic life of the country. Guided by the Christian principles and holding on to our motto of Wisdom and Excellence, we ignite a natural curiosity that children exhibit about themselves and their world, and train them to use their curiosity to foster positive attitudes to learning.
Our activities are geared toward inculcating in our staff members and students a deep-rooted faith in the divine which should be manifested in their social behaviour among peer groups, family members and society at large. Utmost importance is given to provide an inclusive environment for all while stressing the need for value systems like respect, compassion, sympathy, empathy and the feeling of gratitude towards every living thing on this earth.
Every young Christite walking out of the threshold of the school is sure to be a person of values, integrity, resilience and an ambassador of goodwill wherever he or she goes. It’s all possible because of the unwavering support and trust on us by the parents.

Our school is dedicated to nurturing 21st-century skills such as critical thinking, creativity, communication, collaboration, and digital literacy. By integrating these essential skills into our curriculum and activities, we prepare students to thrive in a rapidly changing world and become innovative, responsible global citizens.

Hello, everybody. I am Bopanna. I'm from Christ, batch of 2010. I joined school in 2005 and was part of the first batch. We were 11 students. I fly the Mirage 2000 fighter. I'm very thankful to the time spent in Christ from 2005 to 2010. I really cherish the bond that I developed with the people there, especially the teachers and the lessons they imparted. I formed great friendships that grow stronger with age.
Hello, everyone. My name is Dr Sachit Ganapathy and I am from the first batch of Christ Public School, passed out in 2011, and I'm so happy to reconnect with all of you. My time in Christ, I don't know how to describe it anymore because it's been a launchpad for me to sort of push myself ahead in my career and as well as in my personal life as well. I had an amazing set of teachers, some of them, including my favorites like Merlin ma'am, Mary Susan ma'am, Rina Benjamin ma'am, and Kumuda ma'am. So many others who actually helped me shape who I am today, and I'm so glad that I was part of Christ Public School, and I'm always proud to call myself a Christite. Thank you.
Hey, I'm Manasa, a proud Christite from the 2011-12 batch. When I look back, I feel school days were the golden years of my life. This is where I learnt my first lessons in discipline, teamwork and confidence. It was not just about textbooks or academics. It was much beyond that. It was about discovering myself through sports, cultural activities, inter-school competitions and all those leadership opportunities. that has shaped me into who I am today. But above all, it was my dear teachers who made the biggest difference. They were not only my educators, but also my mentors, my guides, and sometimes even my biggest cheerleaders. Today, as a Senior Development Specialist at SAP Labs India, I know that so much of what I am today is all because of the foundations I received at school.

Our school follows a well-structured academic schedule aligned with the CBSE curriculum for classes KG to 10.
