A one day Faculty Development Program was conducted on 16th November 2024.Dr.Gurjit Kaur Bhatia, director of Academics at PSTTI, Teacher training Institution, Trainer at Oxford University Press (OUP) and SME (Subject Matter Expert) at a Philippines University was the resource person. The program mainly focused on Empowering Foundational & Preparatory teachers which included Life skills, Values, and Holistic Learning aligned with NEP 2020, NCF 2023 and STEM.
Christ Public School, Block 2, Kindergarten, celebrated Puppet Day with great enthusiasm. Children enjoyed puppet shows featuring rhymes, skits, and storytelling, which fostered creativity, imagination, and communication skills. The event was graced by Principal Rev. Fr. Renish P. Varghese, Campus Director Rev. Fr. Josekutti, Administrator Rev. Fr. Nobel Jose, and Academic Coordinator Ms. Sindhu.
A Fine Motor Activity was also conducted, where children engaged in playdough, painting, cutting, and beading tasks. These activities enhanced hand-eye coordination, dexterity, and self-expression.
The day concluded successfully, promoting joyful learning and holistic development among the little Christites.
Teacher’s Day was observed with solemnity and reverence at Christ Public School, Bogadi on 8th September 2025. The celebration was graced by the esteemed presence of Rev. Fr. Principal Renish P. Varghese, Campus Director Rev. Fr. Jose Kutty VJ,Administrator Rev. Fr. Nobel Jose, Vice Principal, Academic Coordinator, Staff Coordinator, along with the entire teaching faculty.
The programme commenced with the students extending a warm welcome to the teachers, accompanied by a ceremonial band. A series of cultural presentations, including dances and songs, were staged, each highlighting the invaluable role of teachers in the lives of students. As a mark of respect, the teachers were presented with sachets, while class leaders offered potted plants to their respective teachers, symbolizing growth and gratitude.
In his address, Principal Rev. Fr. Renish P. Varghese emphasized the noble responsibility of teachers in shaping the character and future of students. The event culminated in a grand celebration, which eloquently conveyed the significance of teachers in society and left a lasting impression on all present.
On August 15, 2025, Christ Public School vibrantly celebrated India’s 79th Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor. The event was graced by Chief Guest, Air Veteran Mr. Y.S. Mallikarjuniah, whose presence added a distinguished honor to the occasion. The day commenced with a spirited march by the school band and NCC Cadets, escorting the Chief Guest, Principal Fr.Renish P. Varghese, Administrator Fr Noble Jose, Campus Director Fr. Josekutty, Vice Principal, Academic Coordinator, and Staff Coordinator to the flag hoisting ceremony, symbolizing unity and national pride.
The program unfolded with a series of captivating performances. Tiny tots from Block 2 delivered a heartfelt speech on the significance of Independence Day, captivating the audience with their innocence and clarity. Primary students enthralled everyone with a vibrant dance performance, while Grade 5 students showcased a powerful army-themed dance, reflecting discipline and patriotism. The cultural segment also included melodious patriotic songs and dances, resonating with the spirit of freedom.
The Chief Guest, Mr. Y.S. Mallikarjuniah, delivered an inspiring speech, sharing insights from his illustrious career and emphasizing the importance of unity, resilience, and patriotism. His address was followed by a felicitation ceremony, honoring his contributions. The event concluded on a sweet note with the distribution of sweets to students, spreading joy, and a fellowship breakfast for teachers, fostering camaraderie.
The celebration was a perfect blend of reverence for the nation’s history and vibrant expressions of youthful patriotism, leaving an indelible mark on all attendees.
