Students’ parliament was held on 1st July. The objective was to make students understand the parliamentary procedure, and help students develop an insight into the working of Parliament
Sr Jennifer Pinto, Panel Advocate at District Legal Services Authority was the Chief Guest. Fr Jinosh VM, Principal, Ms Sindhu Mentor Teacher of the school cabinet, Fr Bibin Administrator, School Pupil Leaders Rohit Ranbir and Kannika S were the other dignitaries present. All the protocols pertaining to a parliament were followed. The cabinet had the Prime Minister and the Cabinet Ministers with different portfolios assigned to them. The session witnessed various procedures like the oath taking ceremony, speech by the ministers followed by the question answer session.
It was a truly informative program for the students as they got a taste of the actual working of the Indian Parliament.
