Inter school competition based on the theme of patriotism was held on 3rd August. 11 schools form Mysore participated in the various competitions like Harmony of Heroes (patriotic group song), Costume Carnival Extravaganza (fancy dress), Ink Masterpiece Challenge(Essay Writing), Speech spark sparkle(Elocution),Rhythms of freedom (Patriotic group dance), Visual vibes art contest(Poster making). Our Principal Fr Renish P Varghese, Campus Director Fr Josekutty VJ, administrator Fr Nobel Jose were the dignitaries present. After a formal inauguration program, various competitions took place in the venues earmarked for the same.
Students competed with great enthusiasm and some extraordinary commendable performances were displayed. The day ended with the valedictory function where the results were announced and prizes were given away.
Christ Public School Bogadi emerged as the overall champion. St Joseph’s Vijayanagar was the first runner up and Christ the King Convent was the second runner up.
No bag day was also celebrated on the same day. The students were given an exposure to the various competitions held on that day as they cheered the participants during their performances. Students learnt important life skills like public speaking, participating in competitions with true competitive spirit and learning to accept success and failures with the same mind set.
